Yours truly was among 5 other researchers taking to the “Social Science Soapbox” for this evening event.
There’s a post on the LSE Spoapbox Event 2015 hereĀ (I’m looking fetching in my LSE shirt!)
I introduced the topic of “Should we colonise space?” and then the audience was free to give input, heckle, question, etc. It was part of the wider LSE Research Festival 2015. It’s free to attend but they ask you to pre-register.
The Soapbox events are from 19:00-21:00, in the Weston Cafe: 6th floor of the Saw Swee Hawk building on the LSE campus (map). (The building, our new Student Union building, itself has gotten a lot of attention for its architectural design.)
This event is in the same series as the previous Soapbox event I did at the Natural History Museum. A colleague of mine wrote up a blog about that one.
(Photo is one of mine, taken at Shoreditch Town Hall–I’m using it as it looks a bit spacey!)
