Come to the Pichette Auditorium at Pembroke College at 18:00 on Monday 23rd February to witness the lift-off of Oxford’s newest and most exciting society.
Featuring space sector experts from the Space Angels Network, the European Space Agency, the LSE, and the Satellite Applications Catapult, our launch event is for academics, entrepreneurs, and anyone with an interest in space.
The event will take the format of a series of short presentations and a Q&A session, which will then be followed by space-themed drinks and nibbles and the chance to talk directly with the speakers.
Chad Anderson is Managing Director of the Space Angels Network, the only global venture capital firm dedicated to investments in aerospace.
Dr Jill Stuart is an academic based at the LSE and editor of the journal Space Policy, as well as being a frequent media presence.
Alan Brunstrom is the head of the Applications Business Office at the ESA, with a particular focus on assisting SMEs with expertise and funding.
Sam Adlen is the head of Business Innovation at the Satellite Applications Catapult, which gives support to new companies aiming to develop satellite-based products and applications.
